Cards & Stationery
We occassionaly create letterpress greeting cards and stationery printed on premium, acid-free paper, using both original designs and antique printers' blocks and "cuts" rescued from 19th and early 20th century books, almanacs, newspapers and catalogs.
Business cards and personal stationery can be custom printed to any specifications using a variety of inks and colors. Twenty-first century digital imaging allows us to design or recreate any line art or logo as a reusable polymer plate from which we can print using vintage equipment for the unmistakably crisp, clean, palpabale impression only letterpress can provide. Contact us with what you need and we'll find a way to make it work. * * * We've also long dreamed of putting together a set of "gothic" stationery based on a series of macabre steel engravings by W. Harry Rogers used as decorative motifs in a mouldering yet charming 1868 volume of the poetry of Edgar Allen Poe. Contact us for more information, and the public outpouring you may be a part of may finally convince us to actually undertake this project.
